Ak\u00fclerin kapasiteleri amper-saat (Ah) olarak ifade edilir. \u00d6m\u00fcrlerini uzun tutmak i\u00e7in kapasitesi %50\u2019nin alt\u0131nda iken \u015farj edilmelidir. Verimleri %90 civar\u0131ndad\u0131r.<br \/>\n\u015eebeke elektri\u011finin oldu\u011fu yerde 2 g\u00fcn, olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 yerde 3 g\u00fcnl\u00fck ihtiyac\u0131n\u0131 depolayacak kadar ak\u00fc kullan\u0131m\u0131 uygun olacakt\u0131r. Bu da g\u00fcnl\u00fck t\u00fcketimi 5 kW olan bir ev i\u00e7in 10 kW\u2019\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131layacak ak\u00fc kapasitesi demektir. 12 V 1200 Ah\u2019lik ak\u00fc grubu 12volt*1200 Amper-Saat =14.400 watt depolayabilir. Ak\u00fclerde depolanan\u0131n tamam\u0131n\u0131 hatta %70\u2019inden fazlas\u0131n\u0131 kullanmak ak\u00fcn\u00fcn yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 k\u0131sa zamanda bozmaktad\u0131r. Bu y\u00fczden 12 V 1200 Ah bir ak\u00fc grubu tasarlanan sistemim i\u00e7in ideal olacakt\u0131r.
